Narrative:
During descent into ewr, an light transport passed off the left nose of the aircraft. There was not enough time to take evasive action due to the close proximity. The light transport was VFR. Since this is a high performance commuter aircraft capable of high speeds, I think part 135 aircraft should be required to be on IFR.

Title: NMAC BETWEEN ACR-MLG AND VFR ACR-LTT.
Narrative: DURING DSCNT INTO EWR, AN LTT PASSED OFF THE L NOSE OF THE ACFT. THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH TIME TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION DUE TO THE CLOSE PROXIMITY. THE LTT WAS VFR. SINCE THIS IS A HIGH PERFORMANCE COMMUTER ACFT CAPABLE OF HIGH SPDS, I THINK PART 135 ACFT SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO BE ON IFR.
