Narrative:
While being vectored for a visual approach to mmu; approach control called out traffic. We did not have visual contact. We received an RA alert to climb. We did. To 3;400 from 3;000 ft assigned altitude. ATC ordered us to descend to 3;000 to remain clear of ewr arrivals.

Title: A Fractional pilot on a visual to MMU climbed to 3;400 FT in response to a TCAS RA and was told by New York TRACON to return to 3;000 FT because of EWR traffic.
Narrative: While being vectored for a visual approach to MMU; Approach Control called out traffic. We did not have visual contact. We received an RA alert to climb. We did. To 3;400 from 3;000 FT assigned altitude. ATC ordered us to descend to 3;000 to remain clear of EWR arrivals.
