Narrative:
I was made aware that I was part of the team assigned to an aircraft in may 2011; that the linkage under flightdeck was disconnected in order to insert rig pin. Linkage was not replaced in the correct orientation.

Title: A Line Mechanic was informed he had been previously involved with a rudder quadrant assembly link that had been removed and reinstalled six months earlier; on a Q400 aircraft; for rig pin access to the rudder quadrant. Noise from under flight deck alerted flight crew.
Narrative: I was made aware that I was part of the team assigned to an aircraft in May 2011; that the linkage under flightdeck was disconnected in order to insert rig pin. Linkage was not replaced in the correct orientation.
