Narrative:
#1 hydraulic quantity dropped to 0.6 qts just as we taxied onto runway. Told tower we had to taxi clear [of] runway to check problem. Did checklist and returned to gate. Noticed right I/B roll spoiler did not extend normally followed by #1 hydraulic isolation valve and roll spoiler inboard hydraulic caution lights. Lost hydraulic fluid due to failure of right I/B roll spoiler actuator. Called maintenance and made write-up.

Title: A Dash 8 Captain reported #1 hydraulic system leak as they took the runway. They returned to the gate to repair the leaking right inboard spoiler actuator.
