Narrative:
Departed 18L at clt. All pre-takeoff procedures were accomplished; including route verification; runway verification and runway update. LNAV was engaged at 400 AGL. Autopilot was engaged just after 1;000 AGL. Aircraft began a right turn; which I initially assumed was a crosswind correction. I cleared outside for traffic and it appeared we were drifting right of course. I checked back inside to confirm this and the CDI indicated we were on course with a bearing to hisor of 193 degrees. I cleared outside again and saw an aircraft; which had departed 18C converging with us. Our aircraft began a left turn either as a course correction or as a turn for the next fix as we received a traffic advisory from the TCAS. A few seconds later tower issued an immediate left turn command. We proceeded to our destination with no further issues. Enroute we checked the navigation accuracy page and could find nothing wrong.
