Several jobcards have a note on page one stating 'all part numbers (P/north) listed are typical part numbers (P/north's) and may not be current. Reference the illustrated parts catalog (ipc) for current part'. I feel that this statement is a disclaimer by the [powerplant] engineering department to relieve themselves of their responsibility; as stated in the general manual (G/M) 12-20-10 to maintain the accuracy of the job instruction card (jic).

Narrative: Several jobcards have a note on page one stating 'ALL PART NUMBERS (P/N) LISTED ARE TYPICAL PART NUMBERS (P/N'S) AND MAY NOT BE CURRENT. REFERENCE THE ILLUSTRATED PARTS CATALOG (IPC) FOR CURRENT PART'. I feel that this statement is a disclaimer by the [Powerplant] Engineering Department to relieve themselves of their responsibility; as stated in the General Manual (G/M) 12-20-10 to maintain the accuracy of the Job Instruction Card (JIC).
