Narrative:
On the wed of 12/88 at XX10 central time our large transport X was cleared to land on runway 27R at ord. There was another aircraft on the runway that was slow to clear. Ord tower instructed the aircraft on the runway to expedite clearing the runway. At this point we descended below the 200' AGL DH point, and aforementioned aircraft began to clear 27R. At approximately 100' AGL another large transport began a takeoff roll from runway 32R (intersecting runway). Seeing the aircraft moving in our direction we immediately initiated a go around. I advised ATC that we were going around and we were subsequently vectored for a visual 27L approach and landing west/O incident. ATC made no mention of the incident and we did not transmit the reason for our go around to ATC.

Title: ACR-LGT FORCED TO MAKE GO AROUND WHEN THE TWR CLEARS ANOTHER ACR-LGT FOR TKOF ON AN INTERSECTING RWY.
Narrative: ON THE WED OF 12/88 AT XX10 CENTRAL TIME OUR LGT X WAS CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 27R AT ORD. THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT ON THE RWY THAT WAS SLOW TO CLR. ORD TWR INSTRUCTED THE ACFT ON THE RWY TO EXPEDITE CLRING THE RWY. AT THIS POINT WE DSNDED BELOW THE 200' AGL DH POINT, AND AFOREMENTIONED ACFT BEGAN TO CLR 27R. AT APPROX 100' AGL ANOTHER LGT BEGAN A TKOF ROLL FROM RWY 32R (INTERSECTING RWY). SEEING THE ACFT MOVING IN OUR DIRECTION WE IMMEDIATELY INITIATED A GO AROUND. I ADVISED ATC THAT WE WERE GOING AROUND AND WE WERE SUBSEQUENTLY VECTORED FOR A VISUAL 27L APCH AND LNDG W/O INCIDENT. ATC MADE NO MENTION OF THE INCIDENT AND WE DID NOT XMIT THE REASON FOR OUR GO AROUND TO ATC.
