Narrative:
Landing at dubai international airport; uae the following 2 incidents occurred. Landing on runway 30L; our instructions were; 'exit high-speed on K-8; followed by right turn on K.' next; we were instructed to contact ground. Ground instructions to us were as follows: 'keep it rolling on K; to ka.' pilot not flying looked at his commercial chart trying to locate ka. When one looks at the current chart; no such taxiway is indicated. All of a sudden ground control said; 'stop the aircraft; you just transgressed ka and I told you to hold short of ka.' after the stop; we were instructed to continue onto L3; to M; and a right turn onto left. We never did see left; nor is it depicted on the commercial airport diagram. Subsequently; we stopped; held short of runway 30R; and asked for 'progressive.' on this particular day ground control was very busy; transmissions were stepped on each other; and we did read back all of our instructions. No runway incursions ever occurred on our part. After shut-down; we reviewed our charts. They were current but the taxiways in question (ka and left) are not depicted.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A CL601 crew landed at OMDB and was given taxi instructions which included a Taxiway KA hold point; but since the main airport diagram did not contain the point ATC instructed them to hold after passing KA. Taxiway hold positions were described on a different chart; not referenced on the main airport diagram.
