Narrative:
Received sel engine #3 fadec altitude followed by #3 engine RPM low alerts. Engine #3 flamed out; engine in-flight shutdown checklist was followed by in flight start checklist resulting in a normal restart. Flight control was notified and we were directed to continue to our planned destination. Engine parameters were normal.

Title: An MD11 alerted SEL ENG #3 FADEC ALT; followed by ENG #3 RPM LOW and the engine flamed out so the ENG SHUTDOWN Checklist followed by the INFLIGHT START Checklist resulted in a normal engine operation.
Narrative: Received SEL ENG #3 FADEC ALT followed by #3 ENG RPM LOW alerts.
