Narrative:

During take-off; headwind shifted to tailwind resulting in insufficient climb rate for obstacle clearance. Rather than hit taller obstructions at high speed; slowed and landed beyond the end of runway; resulting in prop strike upon hitting a tree stump on ground during roll out. Contributing factors included density altitude; variable winds; slow climb rate; new situation. Utilize obstruction free runway during calm or variable winds. Should have stopped take-off earlier or used alternate runway.
