Narrative:
On blufi 4 arrival to fll, just received clearance to 7000. First officer set altitude in altitude alert. I disconnected autoplt, reduced power, scanned instruments, started descent, then went outside, saw small aircraft at 12 O'clock. Immediate evasive action to right and down. Missed small aircraft by less than 50'. Asked ATC if they showed traffic. Their response, no. Xponders in all aircraft.
