Narrative:
While in cruise we received an ECAM stating hydraulic Y system lo rsvr. We followed the appropriate procedures for this event. As a precaution we declared an emergency with approach control. Except for the loss of the right thrust reverser the approach; landing; rollout and taxi to the gate were normal.

Title: An A321 flight crew declared an emergency and landed uneventfully at their destination when the Yellow Hydraulic System failed due to low fluid.
Narrative: While in cruise we received an ECAM stating HYD Y SYS LO RSVR. We followed the appropriate procedures for this event. As a precaution we declared an emergency with Approach Control. Except for the loss of the right thrust reverser the approach; landing; rollout and taxi to the gate were normal.
