Narrative:
While taxiing to the active runway 28L; I passed the hold bars to the active runway. It was dusk and lighting was not very good. The hold bars seemed very far back from the runway; I was holding short of the runway in an area that seemed to be a run-up area but it was past the hold bars and a 45 degree turn before the runway.
