Narrative:
I was notified 15 days later that I was co-responsible for this system error. I was working the H coordinator position at etx sector 42. At approximately XA12 ZBW kingston sector controller called me reference aircraft a 40 mi northeast of sax VOR at FL310 on J229 to sac and aircraft B 40 mi northeast of sax VOR on J77 climbing to FL350 leaving FL285. I told the controller to put aircraft a on a 150 degree heading and put him behind aircraft B. The bos controller complied, but did not ensure sep of the 2 aircraft and a system error occurred in the ZBW airspace. He did not fulfill the requirement as outlined in ATP 7110.65E manual 5-64c, and yet I am co-responsible. The aircraft a was given a heading of 110 degrees by the ZNY radar controller but the 2 aircraft passed with 4 mi and 500'. I believe the ZBW controller is solely responsible for this error. Supplemental information from acn 101915: air carrier X was issued erroneous control instructions by ZNY which caused X to come within the 5 mi protected airspace of air carrier Y.

Title: LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION BETWEEN 2 ACR. OPERATIONAL ERROR. 2 CTLR REPORTS (ZNY AND ZBW).
Narrative: I WAS NOTIFIED 15 DAYS LATER THAT I WAS CO-RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SYS ERROR. I WAS WORKING THE H COORDINATOR POS AT ETX SECTOR 42. AT APPROX XA12 ZBW KINGSTON SECTOR CTLR CALLED ME REF ACFT A 40 MI NE OF SAX VOR AT FL310 ON J229 TO SAC AND ACFT B 40 MI NE OF SAX VOR ON J77 CLBING TO FL350 LEAVING FL285. I TOLD THE CTLR TO PUT ACFT A ON A 150 DEG HDG AND PUT HIM BEHIND ACFT B. THE BOS CTLR COMPLIED, BUT DID NOT ENSURE SEP OF THE 2 ACFT AND A SYS ERROR OCCURRED IN THE ZBW AIRSPACE. HE DID NOT FULFILL THE REQUIREMENT AS OUTLINED IN ATP 7110.65E MANUAL 5-64C, AND YET I AM CO-RESPONSIBLE. THE ACFT A WAS GIVEN A HDG OF 110 DEGS BY THE ZNY RADAR CTLR BUT THE 2 ACFT PASSED WITH 4 MI AND 500'. I BELIEVE THE ZBW CTLR IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ERROR. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 101915: ACR X WAS ISSUED ERRONEOUS CTL INSTRUCTIONS BY ZNY WHICH CAUSED X TO COME WITHIN THE 5 MI PROTECTED AIRSPACE OF ACR Y.
