Narrative:
My student and I were enroute to pwa. We were in clouds on a radar vector to pwa when my student lost control and I [regained] control stabilized and then returned control to my student who then lost control again. This happened several times; but finally we got control of flight. Approach control was very busy and advised us to follow his instructions. We were in clouds and this was a new experience for the student. I should have introduced him to this condition in a less busy area.
