Narrative:
Small transport was under radar contact by tus approach control (frequency 125.9) and assigned 5000' in the procedure turn inbound, ILS runway 6, ryan. A spc, call sign XXX, was also under control of tus (on a UHF frequency) and entered the same holding pattern at 5000'. Small transport pulled up to 5500' to avoid the collision and reported this to tus approach control. Small transport received no warning from tus approach control that another aircraft was approaching on a collision course at the same altitude. These events are all recorded on tus approach control tape frequency 125.9 XX30L, 2/thur/89.

Title: WHILE IN PROC TURN, SMT OBSERVED ANOTHER ACFT AT SAME ALT AND TOOK EVASIVE ACTION.
Narrative: SMT WAS UNDER RADAR CONTACT BY TUS APCH CTL (FREQ 125.9) AND ASSIGNED 5000' IN THE PROC TURN INBND, ILS RWY 6, RYAN. A SPC, CALL SIGN XXX, WAS ALSO UNDER CTL OF TUS (ON A UHF FREQ) AND ENTERED THE SAME HOLDING PATTERN AT 5000'. SMT PULLED UP TO 5500' TO AVOID THE COLLISION AND RPTED THIS TO TUS APCH CTL. SMT RECEIVED NO WARNING FROM TUS APCH CTL THAT ANOTHER ACFT WAS APCHING ON A COLLISION COURSE AT THE SAME ALT. THESE EVENTS ARE ALL RECORDED ON TUS APCH CTL TAPE FREQ 125.9 XX30L, 2/THUR/89.
