Narrative:
Landed complex small aircraft gear up. Failed to lower gear due to preoccupation with new autoplt. Have been flying same plane for 10 yrs with no incidents, had been cycling gear while airborne to check effect on altitude hold function of autoplt. Thought gear was down, but was having difficulty with descent on localizer with autoplt and did not check for gear down.
