Narrative:
Cleared to land, forgot to lower landing gear, heard the warning horn go off but I thought it was the stall warning horn. Heard second horn go off. This second horn was my stall horn making me understand that the first horn was my gear warning horn but there was not enough time to react. Recommendation for future safety in aviation is that they have ATC give an instruction as they do in canada, to clear an aircraft using the phrase 'gear down and locked, cleared to land.' there were no injuries involved with this case.
