Narrative:
Aircraft vectored to final, autoplt engaged and captured localizer 26L at 2500'. First officer observed G/south indicator and used G/south information to call for flaps and gear. Captain called 'capture' and first officer confirmed as aircraft started to descend. Captain reset altitude for missed approach and first officer looked up at mode control panel to check all settings. First officer looked back at raw data to find aircraft descending too rapidly and going well below G south. Disengaged autoplt, started adding power and raising nose prior to call from approach control to check altitude. Aircraft is newest in fleet, about one week old. Autoplt was entered in log book as unsatisfactory by crew. Two man crew a directly contributing factor. Too many things happening on final during critical phases of flight.

Title: ACR MLG DEVIATES BELOW GLIDE SLOPE AND ACT MSAW.
Narrative: ACFT VECTORED TO FINAL, AUTOPLT ENGAGED AND CAPTURED LOC 26L AT 2500'. F/O OBSERVED G/S INDICATOR AND USED G/S INFO TO CALL FOR FLAPS AND GEAR. CAPT CALLED 'CAPTURE' AND F/O CONFIRMED AS ACFT STARTED TO DSND. CAPT RESET ALT FOR MISSED APCH AND F/O LOOKED UP AT MODE CONTROL PANEL TO CHK ALL SETTINGS. F/O LOOKED BACK AT RAW DATA TO FIND ACFT DSNDING TOO RAPIDLY AND GOING WELL BELOW G S. DISENGAGED AUTOPLT, STARTED ADDING PWR AND RAISING NOSE PRIOR TO CALL FROM APCH CTL TO CHK ALT. ACFT IS NEWEST IN FLEET, ABOUT ONE WEEK OLD. AUTOPLT WAS ENTERED IN LOG BOOK AS UNSATISFACTORY BY CREW. TWO MAN CREW A DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTING FACTOR. TOO MANY THINGS HAPPENING ON FINAL DURING CRITICAL PHASES OF FLT.
