Narrative:
During a flight from ptk to sdf, light transport lost communications with center control over cvg VOR. After checking all C/B and switches and trying all published frequencys we completed the lost communication checklist. We then tried different mikes and headsets in both pilot and copilot sides. Proceeded to follow last center instructions received, continuously broadcast in the blind as to intentions. Maintained assigned squawk as center had just identified light transport. Communications returned as we were proceeding in VFR conditions for approach to airport.
