Narrative:
I was working radar approach clt. Not busy at the time. Light transport inbound descended to 2000'. Another controller working next to me advised me an ult was seen by an aircraft he was working. I called traffic I saw (believed to be the ult). On the third call light transport picked up traffic and took evasive action. Pilot later called on phone and stated they would have hit the ult if they hadn't seen it. Sheriff helicopter dispatched to scene and got the pilot of unregistered ult.
