Narrative:
I feel the IFR departure procedure out of rbg (runway 34) is unsafe! There should be an altitude to climb to (1600') before making the left turn, due to higher terrain. I learned to fly at rbg, so I don't find it a problem, but someone that was new to the area could takeoff and make an early turn and drive into the mountain.
