Narrative:
While approaching from the east at 2;500 MSL into tyler pounds airport; tower operator provided information for my cardinal to avoid another departing cardinal which we accomplished. I reported entering left downwind for runway 13 per prior request and was cleared to land [runway] 13. As I turned base I noticed an air carrier aircraft turning toward tyr at my high right (turning right base for [runway] 22 I know now); but gave no further thought rather focused on landing. I was a little fast on final and mentally briefed for a long landing if needed as no problem with the 5;200 ft of runway available. I touched down on [runway] 13 without being long and as I came to a stop just even with or a little past taxiway B; I saw the air carrier aircraft touchdown on [runway] 22 at the intersection of 13/22 about 800 feet in front of me. I was not offered lasho [land and hold short] and would have rejected it as the landing distance on [runway] 13 to intersection of 13/22 is about 2;500 ft. My passenger who is also a pilot was stunned as I was. Had we landed long the outcome may have been different. I called the tyr tower after I had thought this situation through over lunch. I phoned the tyr control tower and spoke with mr. X. I identified myself and asked if I had missed an instruction to lahso to which mr. X replied; 'no we were watching you and thought you would have no problems landing'… or something to that effect. I do not know if the air carrier pilots saw me as nothing was said on the radio that I heard from that aircraft. After engine start for departure as I was listening to ATIS which was a man's voice; I could hear the [the other] controller talking to my aircraft by tail number in the background of the ATIS. Given there were two cessna cardinals being handled by the control tower with [one of the controllers] recording a new ats; it may have provided a foundation for loss of awareness if the [other controller] was handling my aircraft; the other cardinal and the inbound air carrier aircraft. While we missed the air carrier by about 800 ft; a little more speed on final; or go around by me could have had a different outcome in my opinion. Had I looked to my left while on short final and seen the air carrier aircraft approaching for runway 22; I may have initiated my own go around with a steep right turn to avoid the intersection. At that point I would have made a radio transmission accordingly which would have alerted the air carrier aircraft of my actions initiated to avoid what I would have perceived as a possible collision.

Title: C177 pilot reports being cleared to land on Runway 13 at TYR with no restrictions and stopping short of Runway 22; to note an air carrier aircraft touching down and rolling through the intersection ahead.
