Narrative:
On final for runway 13, tower advised of air carrier a heavy traffic for runway 7. Our instructions were to pass behind the heavy, and land runway 13. As approach continued, it became obvious that it would not be possible to pass behind the heavy. I executed a normal go around and resequenced to land runway 13. Normal landing effected. I am concerned that the on going labor dispute at air carrier B, may have caused the air carrier a pilots to deliberately slow their approach to cause an air carrier C flight to make a go around. It appeared that in this case that is what happened.
