Narrative:
A P2V-7 was taking off after making appropriate radio calls on CTAF and making clearing turns in the run-up area of runway 16 at mev. At approximately V1 the pilot observed a glider rolling onto the runway from closed runway at the intersection of runway 16/34 and 30/15. The glider had momentum to cross the runway and cleared the runway ahead of us. The P2 had achieved flying airspeed the plane was rotated to avoid the glider. A collision was narrowly avoided. Subsequently it was determined the glider was using the closed runway due to wind conditions and its radio had failed.

Title: A P2V taking off on MEV Runway 16 nearly collided with a glider which crossed the Runway 16/34 and 15/30 intersection after the glider landed on the closed runway using the favorable winds.
