Forward cargo light and bell came on at cruise. Discharged bottle. Light went out for six to seven minutes. Then the light and bell came on again. Diverted to [an airport] which was 90 miles away.

Title: A B737-300 FWD Cargo Fire bell and light alerted at cruise so the fire bottle was discharged which put the warning out for about six to seven minutes. After the fire system alerted again; the crew diverted to a nearby airport.
