Narrative:
When flying in cruise the right 'bleed air leak' red light came on. We proceeded to perform the checklist and the light did not go off. The checklist says to shutdown the right engine if this light remains on. We shut down the right engine and declared an emergency. The light went off about 8 minutes after the right engine was shutdown. Requested vectors to a close by airport with a long runway and ATC gave us vectors to land at a nearby airport. The approach and landing were uneventful.
