Narrative:
Lna is uncontrolled. As I was rolling for takeoff on runway 15 a tow and glider announced rolling for takeoff on runway 9. The purpose of this report is to attempt to focus some attention on the dire need for a control tower at lna. I have been in and out of there for some time and it is the busiest uncontrolled field I have even encountered. There are banner flts, glider flts and ordinary flts. It is the reliever field for pbi and under the arsa. In my opinion it is an accident waiting to happen. It should be brought to the attention of FAA as a safety matter.
