Narrative:
Upon landing the left gear failed (broke) and gear folded backwards into the wing and flap. Upon checking the aircraft logs; I found the pitot/static system was out of date by approximately 1 year.

Title: PA23 pilot reports a left main landing gear failure after touch down causing damage to the wing and flap. It was later discovered that the pitot static system check was a year out of date.
Narrative: Upon landing the left gear failed (broke) and gear folded backwards into the wing and flap. Upon checking the aircraft logs; I found the Pitot/Static system was out of date by approximately 1 year.
