Narrative:
The student was on his second solo as a student pilot; in the traffic pattern; and after 4 touch and go's the student landed and skidded to the left. The student shut down the airplane when he stopped on the grass area. It appears the student landed with his foot on the brakes due to markings on the runway. The aircraft was sent to maintenance for inspection. Total flight time was 0.8 in this lesson. The wind conditions at the airport were: 100 at 10 knots; visibility 10.
