Narrative:

Upon receiving clearance to being approach on ILS 1 at sdf the tower (approach control) advised the captain and I on flight to descend to 2500'. We were approximately at 9000' at this time. My captain who was flying the aircraft at the time began a very gradual descent to start the approach (approximately 200-300 FPM). Our distance on the field approximately 15 mi. We were switched to tower frequency to get clearance for the approach. We were told to fly 340 degrees to intercept the ILS 1 approach. By the time we reached the OM we were still at 6000' MSL when we should have been 2500'. I told my captain we were at the OM and the aircraft was at red line. He began a steep descent rate 4000 FPM to try to capture the G/south., the localizer was still full deflection. The tower asked us if we could continue the approach. My captain said 'yes' to me. I told tower. Inside the marker by about 2 mi we still had full localizer and G/south deflection and tower again asked, 'can you continue the approach?' I never answered the tower and they repeated the question to us. I told the captain to execute a missed approach and he refused. We then continued the approach. I suggested again we go missed approach. My captain never acknowledged me. We finally broke out about 800' MSL almost over the threshold and made the landing. After we landed we asked to turn off on an intersecting runway and the tower replied, 'cleared to land, stay with us to the gate.' this indicated we had not received landing clearance, even though we had been on the tower frequency from the marker inbound. Crew coordination was lost over the approach and captain refused to go missed approach after I told him too.

Title: COMMUTER SMT UNSTABILIZED APCH AND UNAUTH LNDG.

Narrative: UPON RECEIVING CLRNC TO BEING APCH ON ILS 1 AT SDF THE TWR (APCH CTL) ADVISED THE CAPT AND I ON FLT TO DSND TO 2500'. WE WERE APPROX AT 9000' AT THIS TIME. MY CAPT WHO WAS FLYING THE ACFT AT THE TIME BEGAN A VERY GRADUAL DSCNT TO START THE APCH (APPROX 200-300 FPM). OUR DISTANCE ON THE FIELD APPROX 15 MI. WE WERE SWITCHED TO TWR FREQ TO GET CLRNC FOR THE APCH. WE WERE TOLD TO FLY 340 DEGS TO INTERCEPT THE ILS 1 APCH. BY THE TIME WE REACHED THE OM WE WERE STILL AT 6000' MSL WHEN WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN 2500'. I TOLD MY CAPT WE WERE AT THE OM AND THE ACFT WAS AT RED LINE. HE BEGAN A STEEP DSCNT RATE 4000 FPM TO TRY TO CAPTURE THE G/S., THE LOC WAS STILL FULL DEFLECTION. THE TWR ASKED US IF WE COULD CONTINUE THE APCH. MY CAPT SAID 'YES' TO ME. I TOLD TWR. INSIDE THE MARKER BY ABOUT 2 MI WE STILL HAD FULL LOC AND G/S DEFLECTION AND TWR AGAIN ASKED, 'CAN YOU CONTINUE THE APCH?' I NEVER ANSWERED THE TWR AND THEY REPEATED THE QUESTION TO US. I TOLD THE CAPT TO EXECUTE A MISSED APCH AND HE REFUSED. WE THEN CONTINUED THE APCH. I SUGGESTED AGAIN WE GO MISSED APCH. MY CAPT NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED ME. WE FINALLY BROKE OUT ABOUT 800' MSL ALMOST OVER THE THRESHOLD AND MADE THE LNDG. AFTER WE LANDED WE ASKED TO TURN OFF ON AN INTERSECTING RWY AND THE TWR REPLIED, 'CLRED TO LAND, STAY WITH US TO THE GATE.' THIS INDICATED WE HAD NOT RECEIVED LNDG CLRNC, EVEN THOUGH WE HAD BEEN ON THE TWR FREQ FROM THE MARKER INBND. CREW COORD WAS LOST OVER THE APCH AND CAPT REFUSED TO GO MISSED APCH AFTER I TOLD HIM TOO.
