Narrative:
During final approach; when we started to lower flaps for landing; the B hydraulic system failed. We executed a go-around; declared an emergency; completed QRH procedures and then landed uneventfully. Arff equipment met us on the ground and looked us over. After they gave us the all clear; we taxied to the gate where we were met by maintenance.
