Narrative:
At approximately 3000' cabin controller went from automatic to standby. Saw cabin climbing with aircraft. Manual closed outflow valve and got some control over cabin. Returned to clt. Also, transponder when out on #1. Lost time with approach control while #2 transponder warmed up and started to work. Ended up being vectored on long final because of transponder. Returned to clt. Found forward entry door top latch not fully closed. At no time did we have a forward entry door light. Refuel after mechanic checked doors and took off for phl. I talked to company after gate agent checked outside of door to see if it looked all right in close position. Talked to F/a supervisor about F/a--tell crew if they have a problem with the door closing. Since we were returning to climb, seemed like approach control could have skin paint up while we got transponder problem cleared up.

Title: CABIN PRESSURE OF MLG IN CLIMB WENT FROM AUTO CONTROL TO STANDBY. PRESSURE IN CABIN CLIMBED WITH ACFT. FLT CREW USED MANUAL CONTROL TO CLOSE OUTFLOW VALVE, REGAINED SOME CONTROL. RETURNED TO DEP ARPT AND LANDED. A CABIN DOOR PARTIALLY UNLATCHED.
Narrative: AT APPROX 3000' CABIN CTLR WENT FROM AUTO TO STANDBY. SAW CABIN CLBING WITH ACFT. MANUAL CLOSED OUTFLOW VALVE AND GOT SOME CONTROL OVER CABIN. RETURNED TO CLT. ALSO, XPONDER WHEN OUT ON #1. LOST TIME WITH APCH CTL WHILE #2 XPONDER WARMED UP AND STARTED TO WORK. ENDED UP BEING VECTORED ON LONG FINAL BECAUSE OF XPONDER. RETURNED TO CLT. FOUND FORWARD ENTRY DOOR TOP LATCH NOT FULLY CLOSED. AT NO TIME DID WE HAVE A FORWARD ENTRY DOOR LIGHT. REFUEL AFTER MECH CHKED DOORS AND TOOK OFF FOR PHL. I TALKED TO COMPANY AFTER GATE AGENT CHKED OUTSIDE OF DOOR TO SEE IF IT LOOKED ALL RIGHT IN CLOSE POS. TALKED TO F/A SUPVR ABOUT F/A--TELL CREW IF THEY HAVE A PROB WITH THE DOOR CLOSING.
