Narrative:
I was taxiing south to gate on taxiway J at or near gate 25. An medium large transport was parked behind some type of barricades. I taxied 4 feet left of centerline to miss the medium large transport and it was a foot too little. Right wing light glass was found on taxiway. Construction barricades gave the illusion that the medium large transport was parked. The taxiway in question was 24N. 24N deadends into J. A blast fence obstructs seeing the presence of any taxiway at 24N. The medium large transport sitting there appeared to be permanently parked. This was not the case as he was double parked waiting for gate. I believed that he was parked at certain safe distance from J and I had ample clearance. I don't know how to prevent something like this occurring again. 'Murphy's law'.
