Narrative:
Air carrier X was instructed to go around after company aircraft following him visually came within proximity of air carrier X on final. The following aircraft was asked if he still had company aircraft in sight. And; following a period to allow for response did not do so in a timely enough manner as to provide reassurance that the aircraft in fact did indeed. Air carrier X began to argue as to why he was being sent around. Impress upon pilots the need for compliance to directives given and that questions regarding such; that are inconsequential to safe operation of aircraft; can wait.
