Narrative:
After call for taxi, air carrier medium large transport was instructed to taxi to runway 5L via taxiway a, cross runway 32/14, taxiway C then outer to runway 5L. Just before crossing runway 32/14 we noticed a single engine aircraft touching down in runway 32. I stopped short of 32. Rdu ground control insisted that we cross the runway (32/14) that the light aircraft would hold short. The light aircraft appeared to be fully under control--he was bouncing--so I held short of runway 32/14. We informed rdu ground control we would cross after the light aircraft was taxi speed. When this was the case we continued to runway 5L west/O incident.
