Narrative:
We were cleared to taxi from spot 2 west to runway 36R via taxiway hh and C. We taxied onto hh from centerline and headed east on hh. As we completed our turn from hh onto C there were 2 sharp bumps. There is construction along the south edge of hh and on the west side of C. There are barricades made of railroad ties along the edges of the txwys. Those form a 90 degree corner at the intersection of hh and C. On C the barricades extend out onto the normal taxiway surface. We hit one of these in our right turn and the barricade lodged in our right main gear. We made a turn onto taxiway I to clear the C taxiway and told ground control we were unable to taxi any further. We called our maintenance people. They removed the barricade and we taxied back to gate B34. One of our tires was replaced and also a rock deflector was replaced. This corner is extremely restr for turns, especially right turns. The ground controller should provide other routing or warn the pilots about the dangerous corner. Offset printed taxi lines until the construction is completed would be of benefit.
