Narrative:

I flew after becoming aware I had something in my eye. I had flown two prior legs in the same condition; but had just discovered the cause of my eye irritation and I could see the tiny object in my eye. I had no vision problems and I don't think it affected my ability to perform all my duties and completed the flight uneventfully. At the er after the flight it was discovered that the item in my eye was a piece of metal. After it was dug out of my eyeball; I was not able to fly the next flight.
