Narrative:
After departure; just as we performed the after takeoff checklist; we were alerted by ECAM of low blue hydraulic pressure. A review of the hydraulic system revealed that the pressure was 0 psi due to the failure of the electric pump. We completed the appropriate checklist; contacted maintenance and dispatch and returned to [departure airport] for an uneventful landing.
