Narrative:
We were cleared for takeoff behind a md-88 on runway 26L full length. We were cleared for the RNAV nuggt 6 departure. We encountered wake turbulence from the aircraft that took off in front of us which caused a slight deviation left of course. ATC atl tower issued us a turn to the right just as we got out of it. We thought we waited a sufficient amount of time for the md-88; but wind must have pushed the wake into our flight path.
