Narrative:
I was towing a glider in a northwest direction when an airliner ducked beneath me in order to avoid me. He came from behind me (which is my blind spot) so I had almost no chance of spotting him. I never saw him, but apparently the CFI in the glider released at the exact time of the occurrence and I went into my customary climb. I feel that this situation could be avoided if the controllers tried to keep the IFR traffic high and/or in the TCA. This particular area is crowded with traffic including student training. I have noticed that a lot more jets have been coming through this area since the san jose arsa came into affect. If airliners keep coming through this area over fremont we might have an actual midair someday, in which case general aviation would be blamed.
