Narrative:
I was cleared to land on runway 04, copilot making approach, airspeed high with a tailwind, aircraft slow decelerating on approach. Copilot had to make a go around because speed too high to lower gear. Very badly planned. It was the first time even with this copilot and I thought his judgement would have been better than this. After going around, tower advised us that runway 31 was available if we desired. We accepted, but after completing a nearly 360 degree turn to the right, we found we had landed on runway 35. I discovered the problem just as we touched down. In my case, I was definitely fatigued, having been up most of the night before, tending to an emergency at the hospital with a friend. My judgement was slow and the situation would not have occurred had I not been so tired. I relied on the judgement of my experienced copilot but found that I needed to be more careful in observing his actions. I guess all I can say is that I will try never to let this happen again. I learned something about slow human response and awareness during that go around and landing.
