Narrative:
Severe WX throughout the area, and a runway change had just occurred. The medium large transport was inadvertently issued a descent to 3000 (6000 was standard) and became a conflict with an large transport climbing out of miami airport southbound. Traffic was issued and action taken to separate the aircraft.

Title: MLG WAS INADVERTENTLY DESCENDED TO AN ALT THAT CONFLICTED WITH A DEPARTING ACR.
Narrative: SEVERE WX THROUGHOUT THE AREA, AND A RWY CHANGE HAD JUST OCCURRED. THE MLG WAS INADVERTENTLY ISSUED A DESCENT TO 3000 (6000 WAS STANDARD) AND BECAME A CONFLICT WITH AN LGT CLIMBING OUT OF MIAMI ARPT SBND. TFC WAS ISSUED AND ACTION TAKEN TO SEPARATE THE ACFT.
