Narrative:
The city of tallahassee has constructed a new terminal bldg at the regional airport which blocks the vision of atcs for runway 27 approach end and 2000' of the runway 27 parallel taxiway. The controllers are unable to see taxiing and departing aircraft at the eastern part of the airport. During busy times at the airport in a runway 27 operation, the possibility of an accident is certainly possible. The city of tallahassee has been advised of the problem, however no reasonable action by the airport authority has taken place. The FAA is aware of the problem, but continue to work traffic in and out on runway 27 without being able to see the air traffic they are controling from the tower. When the new terminal is in full operation, the amount of air carrier traffic parked on the ramp will further block the vision from the tower. This problem should be addressed immediately. Most pilots are unaware of this problem at the airport and continue to use this runway, not being advised except for this ATIS.

Title: PLT REPORTER INDICATES NEW CONSTRUCTION OF TERMINAL AT TLH PRECLUDES TWR CTLRS FROM SEEING ENTIRE LENGTH OF RWY 27. REPORTER CONSIDERS CONTROLLING TRAFFIC THE CTLRS CANNOT SEE AS A DANGEROUS SITUATION.
Narrative: THE CITY OF TALLAHASSEE HAS CONSTRUCTED A NEW TERMINAL BLDG AT THE REGIONAL ARPT WHICH BLOCKS THE VISION OF ATCS FOR RWY 27 APCH END AND 2000' OF THE RWY 27 PARALLEL TXWY. THE CTLRS ARE UNABLE TO SEE TAXIING AND DEPARTING ACFT AT THE EASTERN PART OF THE ARPT. DURING BUSY TIMES AT THE ARPT IN A RWY 27 OPERATION, THE POSSIBILITY OF AN ACCIDENT IS CERTAINLY POSSIBLE. THE CITY OF TALLAHASSEE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER NO REASONABLE ACTION BY THE ARPT AUTHORITY HAS TAKEN PLACE. THE FAA IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, BUT CONTINUE TO WORK TFC IN AND OUT ON RWY 27 WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE AIR TFC THEY ARE CTLING FROM THE TWR. WHEN THE NEW TERMINAL IS IN FULL OPERATION, THE AMOUNT OF AIR CARRIER TFC PARKED ON THE RAMP WILL FURTHER BLOCK THE VISION FROM THE TWR. THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY. MOST PLTS ARE UNAWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AT THE ARPT AND CONTINUE TO USE THIS RWY, NOT BEING ADVISED EXCEPT FOR THIS ATIS.
