Narrative:
During the takeoff roll in icing conditions with engine cowls and wing anti-ice selected on; we observed an left wing anti ice message remained after applying to power and rejected the takeoff prior to 80 KTS. We cleared the runway after notifying ATC and ran the rejected to QRH. We then found a safe place to stop on the ramp and contacted maintenance. Maintenance had us return to the gate and deplane to check on the problem. After maintenance cleared the a/C to continue we departed without a further incident.
