Narrative:
After powerback incident at dfw, and subsequent inspection and ok by maintenance, aircraft flew from dfw to mex. Aircraft then flew from mex to ord. 5 hops later, damage was found to tail of aircraft. Informed by chief pilot's office we had flown a damaged aircraft from mex to ord. Chief pilot told me that I and the engineer are both ripe for FAA action. Maintenance has cherry picker, spotlights, lots of people. They don't find damage until 5 flts later, in hangar, using hardstands. Flight crew was supposed to southeast it at XA00 am in mexico city with his flashlight. Ask me if my mind is on flying the next leg or on this bs. 18 yrs and I've never scratched an airplane and now the chief pilot says I'm probably going to have an FAA hearing.
