Midnight IFR flight plan atl-avl. Center tried to run an medium large transport Y flight in front of our flight into asheville. We cancelled IFR, continued to land. Tower closed. Medium large transport Y turned runway lights with microphone up to high step with flashers in our face so we couldn't see to land.
