Narrative:
Control cleared us direct to gadsi. Captain read back gadsi phonetically and we proceeded direct. 10 minutes later control said we were supposed to go direct tasmi. We were given a vector to intercept on course. No further action or unusual events ensued.misunderstanding and language issues on behalf of controller.perhaps change one of the names of either point gadsi or tasmi to sound significantly different. Controller could perhaps pay more attention to a phonetically spelled read back.
