Narrative:

After given landing clearance at mco, looking at the far end of the runway, there appeared an airplane on runway 18R. We landed on runway 18R mco and turned off midfield. An air carrier flight had landed, going to the end where there were no txwys. The choice: 1) go around with takeoffs on runway 18L with the published go-around crossing the takeoff path of runway 18L, or 2) land on runway 18R, knowing you can stop well before the end of the runway. The frustration is, a missed approach (the legal option) is more dangerous than landing with an aircraft on the end of the runway.

Title: ACR LANDED ON A RWY OCCUPIED BY ANOTHER ACR.

Narrative: AFTER GIVEN LNDG CLRNC AT MCO, LOOKING AT THE FAR END OF THE RWY, THERE APPEARED AN AIRPLANE ON RWY 18R. WE LANDED ON RWY 18R MCO AND TURNED OFF MIDFIELD. AN ACR FLT HAD LANDED, GOING TO THE END WHERE THERE WERE NO TXWYS. THE CHOICE: 1) GO AROUND WITH TKOFS ON RWY 18L WITH THE PUBLISHED GO-AROUND XING THE TKOF PATH OF RWY 18L, OR 2) LAND ON RWY 18R, KNOWING YOU CAN STOP WELL BEFORE THE END OF THE RWY. THE FRUSTRATION IS, A MISSED APCH (THE LEGAL OPTION) IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN LNDG WITH AN ACFT ON THE END OF THE RWY.
