Narrative:
Radar training was in process. Trainee had 8 immediate situations pending. We cleared all except one. Aircraft X was slow moving at FL240 northbound and aircraft Y was climbing wbound to FL280. Aircraft Y was thought to be able to out climb and go behind aircraft X. It didn't.

Title: ACFT CLIMBED THROUGH ALT OCCUPIED BY ANOTHER ACFT RESULTING IN LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION.
Narrative: RADAR TRAINING WAS IN PROCESS. TRAINEE HAD 8 IMMEDIATE SITUATIONS PENDING. WE CLRED ALL EXCEPT ONE. ACFT X WAS SLOW MOVING AT FL240 NBOUND AND ACFT Y WAS CLIMBING WBOUND TO FL280. ACFT Y WAS THOUGHT TO BE ABLE TO OUT CLIMB AND GO BEHIND ACFT X. IT DIDN'T.
